This position drives a vehicle to shuttle finished product from Kettle Court to the Distribution Center Warehouse in a safe and timely manner. Responsibilities include shuttling for the DC, Plant and other locations, as well as warehouse support.

Material Handler - Graveyard Shift -  Salem, Oregon

This position  is responsible for verifying/receiving inbound and outbound loads, uses a pick list to identify needed product for orders and stages product loads in appropriate areas for loading and shipping. This position is also responsible for maintaining facility aisles to keep them clean and orderly.

Production Supervisor -  Salem, Oregon

 

This position is located in Salem, OR, is responsible for managing the entire production process to ensure production volumes, product quality, safety culture, service, and cost goals are met. Responsibilities include directing the production process and all related support activities that impact our ability to make and pack product, such as quality processes and maintenance and repair activities.

Responsibilities also include training employees in Kettle Foods processes and SOPs, developing employees for succession planning hiring and disciplinary actions of employees and promoting morale among team members.

Consumer Affairs Manager -  Salem, Oregon

This position is responsible for managing the communication between the consumer and Diamond Foods, including responding to consumer questions and complaints; ensures that consumer interaction with our products and the company leads to the next purchase. This position also collects and analyzes information, and provides recommendations regarding consumer product quality performance and related tracking metrics. This position manages Consumer Affairs team members and reports to the Director of Quality and Food Safety.

Food Safety Manager -  Salem, Oregon

Quality Assurance Process Lead -  Salem, Oregon

The Quality Assurance Process Lead is responsible for supporting the plant quality assurance and food safety program. Responsibilities include auditing of plant quality systems such as SQF (Safe Quality Foods), HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points), GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices), and SOP's (Standard Operating Procedures). Responsible for communication of food quality standards to plant personnel through training, quality audits, production and facility monitoring.

Sr. R&D Manager - Salem, Oregon

This position supports Research and Development (R&D) initiatives by managing the R&D aspects of innovation projects that support one of two category business units.  Responsibilities include development and management of project timelines and milestones, supervision of R&D staff, and execution of product design and development work.  This position participates on product teams and conducts technical work within guidelines of project scope, budget and timelines.

Food Technologist - Salem, Oregon

This position supports Research and Development (R&D) initiatives by supporting product development projects from concept to commercialization.  Responsibilities include formulation of new products, conducting product testing, preparing R&D samples and supporting plant trials. This position reports to the Senior Food Scientist with dotted line reporting to supervising Food Scientists.

Regulatory Affairs Manager - Salem, Oregon

This position will be the in-house subject matter expert for the Regulatory discipline within Diamond Foods. He/she will be responsible for translating regulatory requirements into business solutions as well as proactively ensuring that the company is current and compliant with all regulatory guidelines related to ingredients, formulations and communications including labeling, nutritional claims and marketing/sales materials. The scope of this role includes providing regulatory support throughout the innovation process, as well as keeping the company abreast of new regulations and their implications. The person will work with cross-functional teams comprised of Marketing, Innovation, R&D, QA, Purchasing and Legal, and report to the VP of Research, Development and Innovation.
